We're having twins! One boy and One girl!
Well we had our 20 week routine ultrasound last week Friday (June 24th), and it turned out to be anything but routine! We had expected to just find out the gender of our baby, but when the nurse said "well, there's one head, and there's another" I was totally shocked! I instantly burst into tears out of shock and motherly hormones and my first words I think were "shut up, shut up, you're joking" and Austin jumped up and looked at the screen and took off his hat and was like "what! no way!". He broke into a huge smile and as I was still crying we took in the news that we were in reality having twins. There were two distinct heads in there, as well as two placenta's, two amniotic fluids, etc. We're having fraternal twins we discovered, and we first discovered one of them is a boy. Austin jumped up and said "Yes! We get to play football, and basketball, and volleyball, and baseball!" The nurse could tell he was a little excited that he got the boy he so wanted. We were so excited when we discovered our second little one is a girl! Both are healthy and have 4 chambers in their hearts, perfect sized brains, and everything else. Our goal now is to keep them that way! Right now our little boy is 1 day ahead of schedule at 11 oz, and our girl is 2 days behind schedule at 10 oz, both of which are totally normal. The average for one baby at 20 weeks is 10.5 ounces, so they are perfect! Right now we are just getting used to the fact of twins, and I'm trying to eat and rest for 3 now! Things are going great and we couldn't be happier!

New News!
Well, after my last blog post, we got a call from Case Western Dental School in Ohio saying that we've been accepted! They gave us 24 hours to decide if we were going to accept their offer, and after much praying and weighing of pros and cons we decided to move to Cleveland, Ohio! School begins August 1st, which means we need to move at the end of July. Thankfully none of the offers we put on houses here in Utah went through, and we are able to immediately start looking at real estate in Cleveland. Not much time to do it in though! The Lord definitely has a plan for us. We are so grateful for our opportunities and that we have the Lord watching out for us. We truly feel blessed.

After a year and a month of marriage and a baby on the way...
We finally decided to start a blog! I am graduating from BYU in August and have been presented with a lot more free time than I've had in a long time. Austin begins Dental School at Roseman in South Jordan, Utah in August and our lives will definitely keep on changing from there on out. We are expecting our first baby in November! I'm due Novemeber 13, but who really knows when this active little one will make its way into the world. We find out in 2 weeks whether it will be a boy or a girl! Austin of course wants a little linebacker, and the sooner he comes the better. I just want to make cute girly headbands. I offered to make football and baseball hair clips if we have a boy, but Austin already took that off the agenda. At 18 weeks I'm still looking as though I've just eaten a rather large lunch. I'm excited to get out of this looking like you're gaining weight phase into the "oh I really notice you're pregnant" phase.
We've had a blast in these first couple months of our summer. Austin's pest control business is thriving and we are looking to buy our first house! I'm excited for a few things that Wymount does not have and are essential in our new home: 1) a bathroom counter; 2) a dishwasher; 3) the toilet roll closer to the toilet than a 6 foot man's arm reach away; 4) counter space that accommodates more than a dish-rack and a KitchenAid; 5) a place to store things; 6) a washer and dryer!
We really have loved our time at Wymount this past year. It's like Zion. We love our ward and how close-knit we are with everyone. It will definitely be a big social change moving out of our apartment complex into a real neighborhood!
Well I think that wraps up our introductory blog post! There will be many more to come.
